HAPPY 4th OF JULY!
Thank God for all of the men and women in the military fighting for our Independence.
I hope you are all doing well. Besides it being the 4th of July, it's FRIDAY!! Woo hoo!
I had the photos below taken earlier last month. Peyton had a bit of an attitude because he did not want to take his shoes and socks off. Little sh*t!
Jill asked how my children were doing.....thankfully they are doing good. Mandy is still doing well, not showing signs of slowing down at all. I have kept Chili's lampshade on him so he doesn't bite at his "lick granuloma". That is healing well. Thank you for asking, Jill!
I have not packed ONE item yet for our trip. We are leaving in less than one week. YIKES!!
GREAT NEWS: My sis Nini and her husband Sam are here from Texas for the long weekend. YEAH! Tomorrow we are getting together for our annual 4th of July picnic. Pics later! It will be 20 years that we have done this picnic, starting out with 6 people attending the first one!
This is for Sam who is in the Air Force:
Pierce is here spending the night and he is a bit hyper. It's 10:00 p.m. and he is still up making noises. We are getting up at 6:00 a.m. so we can get to the park early to save our spot.
I hope you all have a SAFE & SANE 4th of July. Whatever you do, be sure to hug your families and loved ones. Say a prayer for the troops that are not home with their families this 4th of July.
OH yes, speaking of prayers, please say a prayer for my friend Dora's husband, Paul. He is at Stanford right now receiving his first treatment of chemotherapy. He will be there for one week, receiving chemo for 5 days (I believe). Their children Abbie and Emily are in Florida spending time with Paul's parents. It's best that they are there now while Paul is receiving his chemo. <sigh> Being at Stanford brought back painful memories of my Critter as we walked by areas that we were at when Christopher was there.

Yay Janice! Awww the kids look great! So funny Peyton didn't want to take his shoes and socks off, haha. WOW...your family picnic sounds so wonderful! How lucky you are to have such a big family. I miss when I was a kid having aunts and uncles and cousins a-plenty. Now...not so much family left. YAY I am SO glad to hear Mandy and Chili are both doing good...thanks for the update. I bet Chili hates his lampshade, heehee. Poor wittle guy! I am so sad to hear about how being at Stanford was so painful...I understand. I can't even drive by the hospital where Michael and Bob died. I just can't look at it yet. I hope and pray your friend Paul will be ok. So sad and so scary. Oh don't worry Janice...you still have 6 more days till you get to your packing, lol....just kidding....you better get on it girl...one less worry once you git r done!
I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July and I look forward to the pictures as always. Love you my friend. xo

I swear, you're the biggest picture taker, picture maker woman I've ever know. There must be enough photos for 1000 scrapbooks by now. You're really making a journal of the whole family aren't you? Awesome!!!
