Oops, I did it again!
YES, I DID! "THEY" say that tattoos are addicting. I said that I would never get another one again.
Well........."THEY" were right:
The rosary is for my mother. The idea came to me on Mother's Day when I was really having a bad day missing my mother. Mom would pray the rosary everyday after my father passed away up until 3 days before she passed.
I was following a VW bug yesterday after getting the tattoo and the license plate had "ADA" on it and I believe it was a sign from my mother saying that she liked the tat. In case you didn't know, Mom's name was Ada. So there ya go!
Now onto designing my NEXT tattoo. Never say never, right??
I hope you all are doing well. I've been absent, kind of down and out. Mandy's pathology report came back from the last tumor the vet removed and now my little girl has another kind of cancer. Some type of sarcoma. I'm taking Mandy to the vet after work today for a check up and I'll get more info then. Breaks my heart as I love that little girl so much and she had a rough 1st part of her life. I can't think about that, I've got to think of the positive and the life that she has had with me. <sigh>
Last, but not least........Here is a photo of Taylor that Kathryn took that I JUST LOVE:
OK, onto work stuff. You all have a wonderful day and be sure to hug your families, human and furry.
Tattoos are like stories -- they're symbolic of the important moments in your life.

A tattoo is an affirmation: that this body is yours to have and to enjoy while you're here. Nobody else can control what you do with it.

Oh no.
I am so sad for your precious baby girl Mandy and I know your heart is just breaking. Mine breaks right along with yours. Your tattoos are remarkable and so beautiful. You have such a talented artist that does them for you....WOW. So perfectly done and I am so happy for you seeing that plate Ada...you know that was your momma and the sign you needed at just the right time. Amazing. Taylor is such a cutie patootie and I know that picture had to brighten up your day. All my love to you and more sweet J! xoxoxox

Oh it's just fantastic** love it..so pretty wrapping around the other one:) *** you are too much** ouch*..and she is a little doll*
..and I am so sorry about your sweet Mandy:(..I will keep her in my thoughts..* you too...* biggest hugs and much love, Lee
Wow , that is a tatto! Did it hurt?
I'm so sorry to hear about your baby girl. I wish I had words to ease your pain.
What a cute lil girl with a cute message. You are loved.
I am sorry too. The tattoo is great. Of course the picture is just adorable!
I really love those stylin' leotards and red tennis shoes. Only Miss Taylor could pull that look off. Gosh! She just looks SO CUTE! That photo should be on a card, doncha think??
I LOVE the tattoo. Love it. You are so much braver than I could ever be.
I hope your little one is doing well. We've talked a lot about the possibility of Sugar's cancer returning...would we do chemo? It is so painful and hard on them. Of course we want her around as long as possible, but I don't know that I would want her to go through that. I've kept you and your baby in my prayers. Believe me, I sure understand what you are going through.
Janice, I know how heart broken you are about your Mandygirl. It would be nice to know that surgery took care of it, but I guess you have some real information by now.
If you have to make the 'decision', I know it will be based on love. She may have had a lousy beginning but I know she's been having a wonderful life with you. I know you'll plot the appropriate course for her, whatever it is.
Ok..I want Taylor's tights and high tops! What a doll that girl is.
How are things going on your home improvement projects? wheeee!!
Girl, you probably know I'm not into tats for myself, but I have to say that yours are awesome. Talk about wearing your love on your sleeve!
I definitely take the license tag you saw as a sign.
Once I was driving and a mail truck pulled out in front of me and his plate had three digits on it. They were the same as the number of the hotel room I had just stayed in for a long, wonderful weekend, in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. That was
a sign. I immediately bought a lottery ticket for the daily drawing that day..too late for the morning one, had to get it for the evening one. Pick three. Played the exact order and won on that evening's draw! So yeah, there ya go!
RYC: Thanks , Sweetie! It's a tough time for Terry and for us watching him struggle. {{{Big Hugs}}}
What a tattoo. What a nice memorial for your folks. I am not crazy about them, (tattoos---not your folks---lol) maybe because I could never do it----hate pain of any kind! A niece has a cross above her ankle, and just found out one of our granddaughters across state just got one. Haven't seen it yet.
Love Taylor's pic. She is a cutie. I love the heart tights. I'd love a pair of sock like that---don't think I could get away with the tights at my size or age.
RYC...I think we will have to go leather too. Not too excited about that, but I did see ONE that I kind of liked. Mark tells me that I have to go with an open mind. I just keep thinking about how much they cost and I get a little hesitant.
No picnic for us for awhile. We have another line of thunderstorms headed this way. Our garage door broke today (we were cleaning out the garage and were only partially finished). That ended the fun for now. Guess I will have to use the sofa $ to fix that door!!!
Tia Madrina,
Thanks for stopping by my site and leaving a comment. It means more to me than you will ever know.
It looks as if you have lost your beloved mom, too. It's tough, I know. That license plate could surely have been a sign.
Sorry to hear about the friend of 30 years. It would be so sad to lose a friendship after so many years and certainly painful when someone who you have known for so long betrays you in some way. My heart goes out to you. I hope that there is a way to work through this one..if that is what you desire.
Come back and visit anytime. It was an honor for you to come by my site. Thanks.
Christy
A beautiful tribute to your loved ones.
I'm sorry about your baby, Janice. Poor little sweetheart.
I love your tattoo! Never say never, huh? I think it's a beautiful tribute, and I love how the rosary looks with Critter's superman logo!
Hugs,
Angie
RYC: Thanks, Sweetie! My sentiments exactly.
The tat looks great! It frames Critter's tat, makes it more complete. Way to go, girl!
I could have sworn I commented on this....
That's quite a tat! Great artwork, lots of detail. I'm sure your mom would be honored!
Sorry about your little girl. Hopefully she'll be ok and will be back, bouncing around in not time. I will be keeping her in my thoughts. {{{HUGS}}}
RYC...Nope...still don't have the weekend off. I am going to work yet today and was on call last night... we had a pool party with severe thunderstorms popping up, so I was watching the radar and keeping them updated. We finally had to close the darned thing about halfway through their party. They were furious. Seemed they would rather have their children swimming with lightning all around than cut the party short.
Oh wow, that is really neat. I have never had the guts to get one though daughter has two of them. Neat on the plate message. I'm a believer! Major prayers for little Mandy! I know what she means to you. I hope the news was good. Cute picture of Taylor. Yep, she loves you!
Good Morning, Sweet Lady! How are things with you? I've been missing you!
