Thank you all for your comments from my entry yesterday regarding my little girl Mandy.
I decided to have the vet do the surgery today. All went well, thankfully. Now let’s hope and pray that the tumors don’t return EVER again.
I took the video below of my nephew Matthew when we were at the vet on Saturday. Mandy was roaming the room, checking it out while we were waiting for the doctor to come in.
(Thank you Bonnie for putting the video on my site).
Was that cute or what?! Matthew will be 5 years old in one month, I have no idea how he memorized that. Amazing, eh?!
I feel like saying I hope you all have a Happy Hump Day tomorrow but that was today! I’m out of sorts because of it being a short week. Wahoo to that!
Unfortunately I am going to a funeral tomorrow for a neighbor that passed away. It was weird that I picked up the paper today to read the obits and lo and behold, there was an obituary for our childhood friend’s mother that passed away last week. I haven’t seen these friends in YEARS. Maybe 20 years ago when I got married.
Now then, you all have a wonderful Thursday and be sure to hug your families.
Each contact with a human being is so rare, so precious, one should preserve it.

Oh that was so cute. I think it was amazing also. A winner.
I am glad Mandy had her surgery and came out O.K. I hope that the lumps are gone forever.
My cousins funeral was today too, she died of cancer.( I went to the visitations last evening since my sister wanted to go, She had another cancer surgery today and could not attend funeral.) This is my sisters 8th one for bladder cancer. Please say a prayer for it to be finally all gone.
Make it a good day and Blessings to you.
Matthew is a “hot ticket!!” for sure!I loved the ending! heeheee…It’s great to actually get a voice with the face now. I feel I know him even better than before.
Little Mandy has been through a lot lately. I hope she rests soundly and pounces back with no more tumors either.
You’re a most excellent mommy to your little ones. Mandy is a very fortunate little girl to have a mommy like you!
(And Chiliman too, of course!)
Ok, so I watched Matthew one more time. Then I had to show it to Frank. He’s all…”awwww…OMG…..is he adorable or what?”
That is so sweet!!! I wonder how many children are taught this anymore? I can still do some of the books of the Bible in order. I know there aren’t many taught that anymore.
I don’t know why but your posts aren’t coming through on my subscriptions thingy I get from Xanga.
OMGosh! Tell me your route to TN. There is a chance we could meet up at some point in that trip.
The video is soooo precious! It is amazing what little ones can memorize, isn’t it? I really think we underestimate their intelligence. I had read somewhere that the little ones can learn foreign languages so much easier than when they are older. So, why not memory work?!
I watch the little ones at church singing and reciting at their Christmas program, and am amazed at how much they have to learn, and how well they do!
I know you are happy that you had the surgery for Mandy. You are doing everything you can for her. Hope it will all work out well.
Love your new header!
What a little doll he is. What happened to Mandi???? I have been gone- I guess I better go back and read some more. Certainly glad she is doing ok!! Hugs!
I’m so sorry to hear about another surgery for your lil girl! I know that God will lead you to the right decision.
Please see my post today. Lainey needs your prayers for her son.
Hope she is doing better now and that you don’t have to go through this again. Nothing new on Sugar. She’s eating good and playing a lot, so she seems to be feeling well. *crosses fingers* Don’t know what we would do without our furry babies!!!! ((((HUGS)))
I am so glad the surgery went well and I pray the lumps do not come back.
That video is so cute! He sure has a good memory! That is great!
