  • Spring Is In The Air

Howdy Ho Folks!  Just a VERY quick picture post for you all as I am just on my morning break.

I went to Denise's house on Sunday evening for dinner and Big Brother and had to break out my camera to take photos of the flowers at her house.  All of a sudden it seemed as if they appeared overnight.

    Here goes:

I loved this photo.......Denise has a cherry blossom tree that is blooming like crazy and some of the blossoms fell off into her Blue Spruce tree:

Here is Denise's furry child Sarah.  Look at where she puts her tennis ball when she is not playing with it:

After dinner Denise and I went to a neighbors house that has Golden Retriever puppies.  We fell in LOVE with them:

OK, that is my quick entry for today.  Happy Hump Day everyone!  Be sure to hug your families.

Happiness comes of the capacity to feel deeply,
to enjoy simply, to think freely, to risk life,
    to be needed.

  • Beautiful pictures!  And those furry babies...it would have been hard for me to not squeal like a girl if I'd seen them in person!

  • Our Zeb is a Golden and the pups reminded me of him when we got him. Now he is about 75lbs. and 6 yrs. old. Gets the same silly look on his face this dog has when he is getting attention. They are such a beautiful fun smart dog.

  • We used to have a golden.  But gave her away when she reached a year old.  She shed so horrifically, and our house was not that big. No matter how often I swept or vacuumed, or brushed her, we kept finding dog hair in our food.  And our black clothes were always "hairy".  The family that took her, who had lost their golden to old age several months earlier, asked how we could ever get rid of her.  I said take a look at the front of your black sweater, and you have your answer.

I love the stained glass, too.  I have two pieces in my windows---one made by one of my grands.  I also have several tiffany-styled lamps.  Love the look.

Our grandson, there in SJ, is moving---but I don't know if it is just into another apartment in the same complex or somewhere else.  Wrote and asked him, but haven't heard back yet.  I know he is busy with finals now.

I sure wish spring was here!  Still lots of snow on the ground, but here and there I can see little patches of grass.  This week will be warm---It is 37 degrees now!! lol  We will not see the trees budding out for another two months, at least.

  • It did my heart good to see the flowers.  My grandchildren have two golden labs .  They are my only great grandchildren.  They grow big quickly.  Thanks for the pictures .   It is a bit warmer here today.

  • Gorgeous flowers. Hopefully some of ours start poking up here soon.

  • So pretty!  I am so ready for spring!  I like the flower in the blue spruce also.  When I first seen it I was like WHAT?  I sure hope mine start blooming soon.  No, I guess not really as I am sure we have several more deep freezes coming up yet that would do some damage.  I know spring is coming though.  I just need to keep telling myself that.

I think this is where you go to change your name if you haven't found it yet.    http://edit.xanga.com/editusername.aspx

  • Those are great pictures Janice!! You should try selling some of them for stock photos! The clothespin one is really neat!!

Glad things are going well for you right now! Hugs!!

  • Thanks for sharing those great pictures.  My favorite time of day is that time pictured in your last pic:  those few minutes after the sun sets before it's too dark. and the trees are silhouetted against the turquoise sky.

  • The flowers are so pretty!  I'm reading for things around here to bloom already!!!

  • OMG  I fell in love with those puppies too!  So cute where Sarah puts her ball- she doesn't want to share huh?

Flowers are so pretty!  Yep it is finally spring!!!  Oh Yes!!!

  • Are you wearing green???  Happy St. Patrick's Day!

RYC...Well, at least it's Frogger...I'm not even very good at that.  My poor frog always gets mushed!  LOL!

    How have you been???  (((HUGS)))

  • How in the hell did I miss this post? I hate being late over here. Well I was off the comp. for a couple of days. I guess that's how.

    Happy St. Pat's!!

I looked at the blossom in the spruce and thought..WTF? How did that bloom there? coool photo.

You took a lot of good ones. I'm totally loving the babies and Miss Sarah. She knows how to guard her tennis ball. hahaha..well, she always knows where it is at least.

I can hardly wait for stuff to begin blooming around here. When it snows like a sonofabiotch in March it makes me feel like spring will never get here. sniff....

    Have a fun day sneakyfornotwearinggreensoyougetyourarsepinched!!!
