I'm High!!!
AND I LOVE IT! No, that THAT kind of high....I'm driving my car again (I got it back yesterday) so I'm in my Honda Pilot and I am riding high above the other cars again. I was driving a Mazda 6 and I wasn't used to be so low to the ground.
Thank you all for your prayers for Paul. His surgery went well. There was a "questionable" lymph node that the Dr. took a CT scan of after his surgery but that came out fine, thank God.
I e-mailed Dora (Paul's wife) yesterday to see how Paul was doing and this was her response:
"HI! we just got home from his follow up and he got a bit light headed and sick to the belly while there they had to lay him down and give him water. He seems fine now.........they did take the drain out and said it all looked good back there on his knee. We see the Chemo/Rad doc on Wed the 5th at 9 then we go back to his surgeon that afternoon at 1. We are home now and he is resting."
SO, let's continue praying that Paul is on the road to recovery. Thanks. =)
OH yes, I spoke with my brother's girlfriend Vickie and her sister Jeanie is STILL in the hospital, STILL in ICU but Vickie says that she is improving. Weird, eh??

Weekend Activities: I went to visit Taylor on Friday! I had the day off so I could go to her music class. I hadn't been to Taylor's house for an overnight visit since early November. My brother Daniel ended up in the hospital when I was there in November, Brianna was in the hospital in December the weekend that I was supposed to be at Taylor's and in January I was supposed to go out of town for a funeral for a coworker's brother (I had anxiety and couldn't make it), so this visit was LONG OVERDUE!
We began the visit with going to Taylor's music class. Aye YI YI!! Not quite sure what the age of the children was but there were some VERY rambunctious, out of control boys in the class. They were not paying attention to the teacher and running around the room, trying to open doors, etc. YIKES! The mother of the boys didn't seem to care too much about what they were doing. Taylor was a good little girl and she enjoys going to her class.
Kathryn and I were able to "escape" when Taylor was napping and do some shopping. NO, we didn't leave her home alone, her daddy was there! We hit up Kohl's and got some excellent deals there in the men's department. I bought my two older brother's their birthday presents and I bought myself a very cool Stanford, zippered sweatshirt for $20, regularly priced @ $70! SCORE!
I fell in LOVE over the weekend with Kathryn's friend's baby, Jada. She is 8 months old and is huge. I have NO idea what they feed this girl but she was simply adorable, never whimpered (ok, maybe just once) and I was able to hold her for quite a while, just loving on her.
Kathryn and I did more shopping on Saturday and then in the evening had dinner with her friends (mom's of Jada and her brother Miles). We had a good weekend and were able to catch up on lots of things. I'm going back to see Kathryn and Taylor the day before Easter for a one day visit.
Taylor is SO hysterical. If I can upload a video from home (crossing fingers), I will do that so you all can see what I am talking about. In the meantime, I will just share photos with you all!
Taylor at her dance class:
On Saturday I got to dress Taylor in her outfit for the day:
Here are Taylor and Jada:
That would be it for photos for today. Believe it or not, I'll be back on Thursday with a Xanga entry. It's a BIG day for Pierce on Thursday!
You all have a wonderful Tuesday or what's left of it anyway! Hug your families too!

will be lost for all eternity.

Sure was good to hear from you and to continue to get good news on Paul! I will continue prayers for him and Jeanie!
Glad you got your car back and feel more comfortable on the road. I know what you mean- I drive a big truck now that I am retired and have given up my BMW SUV and I sure love sitting up high!!
Hugs!
Dang, that is a big baby! I'd like to see a picture of her parents!
Taylor is so adorable, I just can't believe what a big girl she is becoming!
Thanks for your comment about my sick daughter..
Sounds as if you have a number of medical concerns as well. Prayers for all of them.
Christy
I'm so glad to hear that everyone is improving. I know how relieved you must be now.
I love Taylor. She's a little lady! That's too bad the other kids lacked so much dicipline in the class. Amazing how ill bred kids are today. Poo on their parents. What a distraction, eh?
Jada is a whopper! but what a cutie she is!!!!! she's almost as big as Taylor!!!
Love you
My husband had knee surgery years ago and had a drain put in. He was quite queasy before (and when) they took it out. I'm glad Paul's lymph node looks fine. Scary how so many people are sick these days...it's good to hear of someone who is not.
Taylor is getting to be so big. I just can't get over that! She is a real doll. So beautiful. I can't stand out of control children...especially when the mother is right there. Other families come to enjoy music class and these people are disrespecting them by allowing their kids to be that way.
You know, they say the plumper the baby, the happier they are. I guess that just means the better you feed them the less they complain? Hahah! No wonder Ethan never cried. She is so ADORABLE!!
Can't wait to hear about Pierce's big day! Hugs!!
Something is wrong this morning and I can't see any pictures anywhere. Darn it all!
I'm so glad you had such a good time. Aren't families wonderful!
And you got your car back! YAY! I love being up higher to see what is around when I'm driving.
Big Hugs Sweetie!
