My toe is doing ok. It is a bad time of the year to have this procedure done because I have to keep it covered. If it was summer, I would be wearing sandals. I go back to the Dr. tomorrow. Being diabetic now I am susceptible to footsie problems, so I really need to keep an eye on that part of my body.
Weird - I had finished this post and made it public and then somehow, the bottom of my post disappeared.
I've been extremely busy with work and all of the overtime that my guys have been doing. Thankfully the storms are over and we are back to "normal". System wide, we had over 2.5 million customers out of service. YIKES!
Tonight I'm going to my Godson Chris' wrestling match. I am going to videotape their exercise routine as it's really cool. I'll upload it hopefully tonight to show it to you all!

Keep an eye on that toe. I have a friend with diabetes and is having a real problem with his foot. It can be very dangerous.
I'm glad the bad weather is over and maybe everything can get back to normal. You all sure got it bad.
Have fun at the wrestling match. Our oldest grandson wrestled and I just loved watching him.

If you really want a video..go to their practice sessions when they're drilling...man it's awful. I REALLY don't know how they do it. Running and running...more running, practicing take downs and maneuvers and shooting...it was so gruelling that after I went to watch one, I told Frankie I'D clean his room from now on! hahahha!

My g-sons wrestle and Wil and both really really dislike it. We don't like watching or going but as g-parents we do go off and on. I do better now than when they were little. The now 16 year old had to draw a picture of his g-parents when he was in kindergarten or first grade and he did me with tears running down my face and the comment to his teacher that his grandmother couldn't come to wrestling because it made her cry and it did.
Hope the toe continues to improve. How is the weight watching going?

Hope everything works out with your toe. Sorry I've not been around much. I am so SWAMPED with all this work. The overtime reports are KILLING me...and now we have people from other departments, so I have to pull their pay records and do THEIR overtime reports. If I come out of this with even a portion of my sanity remaining, I will be so surprised!
Have fun at the wrestling match. I'm trying to figure out how to get Kate to a basketball tournament and back to a neighboring city for that At Home America party (about a 30 min drive on a good day) and then BACK to pick her up by 8:30. Since the party and the game both start at 7:00, I may wind up just phoning in my regrets.

I have bad feet and had to have surgury. Never again. The advantage of living in Florida is that I can wear sandals most of the year. Crocs are wonderful too.

I love your nephew Nick's hair...and his name. I have a cousin named Nick. They are always pretty fun people.
OUCH on the toe! Ethan has a tendency to get ingrown toenails if I don't watch because his little toes are so chubby. If I see them getting red, I take a vitamin E capsule and cut it, squirt it on the toe and put a sock on. Normally by morning the toe is better and I can cut it. I'm glad you found some shoes that work well for you. I've never tried Crocs either but I hear they are the best.

I only weigh once a week at the meeting. I drove myself batty last time I was in WW weighing every day and determined not to do that this time. It works well for me.
