Is there a computer geek/tech in the house?? On Thursday of last week my computer started acting weird so I did the alt/ctrl/del gig and now my computer is running in “SAFE-MODE”. Does anyone know what I can do to get out of that mode??
Did everyone have a good weekend? Mine was busy but fun!
I stayed two nights at Kathryn’s house and was able to see my brother and nephews too. Kathryn, Taylor and I shopped on Saturday…we hit up Weight Watchers (I stayed the same weight as last week), a deli for lunch, Ross, a craft store, Sally’s hair supply (I needed gel to get my hair nice and spiky) and Target. OH yes, we also went to McDonald’s for a 3.5 point ice cream. Yum yum!
I took a bunch of pictures of Taylor so I also hit up Long’s drugstore to do the one hour photo processing thing. I have no patience to wait overnight for the pictures so that is why I do the 1 hour processing. NOPE, still not going the digital camera route. I know, I know, you get the pictures instantaneously but NO THANKS!
While I was at Long’s on Saturday afternoon dropping off some film my nephew Nick called and asked if he could use my car to go to the prom. He went with a coworker of his that has a boyfriend that is TOO old to go with her to the prom. Yep, I said, TOO OLD. She is 17 years old (a junior) and he is 22 years old!! YIKES, I don’t blame him for not going. That is TOO old…what are her parents thinking letting her date someone THAT OLD?! OK, I know that is just my personal opinion but what would Dr. Laura say?!
Needless to say, I let him use my car but thankfully I had that cover up thing in the back to hide all my purchases from the day!! My car made it back in one piece
and everyone had a good time at the prom. I will post a picture of my nephew all dolled up in his tux.
My nephew Nick has VERY curly hair and he didn’t want to get it cut so he had it chemically straightened for the mere price of $200 dollars! I will find a picture of him with his wild hair and then I’ll have a picture of him with his straight hair. WHAT a difference!!!
I’m off 1/2 day again today to get some shopping done before my Ohio trip next week. I bought a pretty dress over the weekend to wear to my nephew’s graduation but I am looking at www.weather.com and it seems as if the weather isn’t going to be spring-like so I probably won’t be able to wear it. I need to find some nice pants to wear to the graduation now.
Time to return to work. Have a Happy Monday everyone!!!

If it’s brown, flush it down”.

You mean you didn’t do ENOUGH shopping this weekend? OK, so what’d you buy TODAY???
Hey, thanks for visiting my site. You have some awesome pics posted here. The photos of your parents are so so sweet. And whoever that little baby is…well, she’s a cherub! Beautiful.
The safe mode always comes up in my computer when it’s not shut down properly. I usually shut my computer down, let it sit awhile and bring it back up. They usually go through a scan disk and then it comes back up again. If you have any bad sectors on your disk, you will find out then. Probably wouldn’t hurt to do a scan disk and a defrag if you have time. Sometimes if you do a defrag, it gets rid of all the little “pockets” and compresses the data, which allows your computer to run more efficiently. Also, you may want to take a look and get rid of your “temp” files. Most of them are just taking up space anyway.
Have a great day!
My friend used the same rhyme to teach his three boys toilet procedures. Sounds like Emme402′s got the computer question answered adequately, too. Have a good one!
I wish I could help, but I suck at solving pc problems. Probably because Wil usually fixes the technical issues.
I think restarting your computer should bring it back up. But if it has problems I would be calling tech support. Ug…computers!
ryn: only if I can come too, not that I’m of use when it comes to fixing anything.
